What is an ICO?
An initial coin offering (ICO), also known as a digital token sale or crowdsale, is a way of raising funds from the public for the development of a product outside of the traditional Venture Capital (VC) world. Usually, products are blockchain-based technologies, but the crowdsale model is increasingly being used for other kinds of projects as well. Each project creates a new cryptocurrency in the form of tokens, which are then sold to the public to raise funds for project development. When the ilycoin project successfully completes its ICO funding goal, the coin will be introduced to the market, and the tokens will already have been distributed to those who bought them and they will be tradeable on the cryptocurrency market. When the product itself is then successful, these tokens can potentially become very valuable.
What are utility tokens?
A utility token is a digital asset that is sold to the public during an ICO campaign, for fiat currency. Unlike a cryptocurrency, tokens usually do not have their own blockchain, but rather are hosted on another blockchain. Once an ICO campaign is complete, the token developers can release the tokens on an exchange, where they can be traded and fluctuate in value, like any other cryptocurrency.

The process to invest in the ilycoin project is simple; there are three proposed stages of our initial coin offering (ICO), which are called phases. The phases are as followed;

Phase One-Private Sale

The first phase, which is called the private sale, is the exclusive introductory phase of the ICO. The private sale is the first step of an ICO. The price of the Cottin token at this phase will be the lowest price introduced, one penny USD, but will require a minimum price of investment of 500 USD.

Phase Two-Pre Sale

The second phase, which is called the pre-sale, is the phase that offers investors discounts and bonuses that are less than that received in the private sale phase, but greater than in the crowdsale phase. The Cottin token at this phase will have risen to six cents but will require a lower minimum price for the investment, 25 USD.

Phase Three-Crowdsale

The final phase, which is called the crowdsale, is the phase that opens the ICO to the general public at large. The crowdsale round is the most common one and is often used synonymously with the term ‘ICO’. In a crowdsale round, the ICO is open to small and large investors, groups and individuals. The Cottin token at this phase will have risen to eleven cents and will require no minimum price for the investment.
